Who says we need to buy toys for children?

KK is putting her thinking cap on when her little brother says he wanted a device which he saw the security guard using to talk. I pretended not knowing what is it but KK swiftly cleared the air and said she knows what CY wanted and she will make it for him. She conveniently took some tapes and some wooden blocks on her own to get things done. Upon finishing the end product, she showed me and explained that policemen use it also to talk too. Haha...I really love this girl's creativity very much!

Of course, CY was very please about it and happily playing with it until today. And with this, I shared a new word with them - Walkie Talkie.

We made a flower and a butterfly

Craft work routine is the main thing in our homeschooling activity. This week, we created something out of the finger knitted yarns. We made a flower and butterfly together.

Hiking in a little hill

Brought my 2 little toddlers up on a hill for a little adventure on my own and see what we found..rubber seeds(biji getah). This is the first time we see its shells still intact with the seeds.

KK is usually afraid of walking into jungles by she did well today...no complaints though  she held on tight on my hand in the whole journey. I kinda distracted her by relating some of the stories which I have told her before to the place we are at, told her to check out some songs which the Beatles/insects are singing to welcome us, to look at the beautiful falling leaves as if we were in France experiencing snows years back and of course, picking up these rubber seeds. It's her first time too! I believe it was a good start with an end in mind hoping to bring her for camping in a forest one day..I shall bring her here more often.

While CY is the courages boy who wants to do the boy thing....look for sticks and treasures(stones) or anything that is not in his collections yet. Being a 3yo, he would usually ask me to carry him when he sees the long road in front of him. Again, he needed to be distracted in the whole journey. As he was holding sticks, I told him to take care of me and KK with the sword in his hand, immediately he is empowered like an warrior! It was a success,he almost finished through and back the whole journey, except just a short slope back to the car. Good job!

I really love this hiking and will do more often in our routine.

Bridal Shops (BS)

A few weeks back, I had a new experience - go survey on the BS available in SS2. It was a funny one. JC was kind enough to accompany me. Well, she just had her photo shoots so, she could help me in many ways. Thank God she was with me....she was there to advise me on the things i should look out for, what price would be reasonable, and well, she also took some photos of me in some gowns.

I enjoyed the part where i can try the gowns. The part where we have to sit down and listen to packages while looking at the photo are usually the funny part when the BS ppl try to sell the package to you but deep down in our hearts we already know whether we will come again or not. It's all judged by how their services are, how their photographer are doing(you can judge that from past albums that they have) and whether u like the dresses that they have or not. Sometimes, we have to 'tahan' not to laugh when we know they lied to us about something.

Anyway, we surveyed 4 BS on the same day and it was tiring for me not for JC, because I was the one changing gowns in every BS. Haha...after visiting 4 shops, the conclusion is that, the packages are all almost the same. I agree with what JC have said, most importantly the service is good because we need to work with the ppl for weeks or even months. It will really affect you emotionally if you have bad time with the BS ppl.

The BS are usually good in one area for eg. one BS has nice gowns that I really like but the photographer sucks, another BS has good photographer and nice gown which i can't fit it and bad service and another BS would probably have good services but not many choices of gowns. So, it all depends on how comfortable you can work with the BS and what u are looking for..gowns or photographer style? The prices are usually almost the same. They are earning your money just once in your lifetime, so, it's quite reasonable that it won't be super cheap or it won't be something that you are going to save a lot on. So, just let them earn the money b'cos you are earning so much that it won't run dry!

Hie all!

This is my first post on the blog of my own. Have always wanted to have a blog of my own. I wish to keep my friends updated about my whereabouts...

Well, this blog belongs to ah fa and I but I guess I will do the updating more often...Suddenly inspired to have a blog because of a blog that I have came across recently...

Just felt that I should pen down things that we encountered, things that we've learnt and maybe come news stuff which we can share with you guys!

Time really flies...and it waits for no one...that's where it shocked me, 23years have gone...it is only left with memories...if i still do not write my life story, I am afraid I will be too old or too busy to remember what had just past...
